Terms of Service

QuickStage Terms of Service

Effective date: December 21, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of QuickStage’s websites, services, authentication flows, APIs, and related features (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

QuickStage provides identity and authentication tools, including OAuth authorization flows and session-based sign‑in. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to QuickStage. “You” refers to any user, account holder, developer, business, or entity that accesses the Services.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining an account.
  • You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account and devices.
  • You agree not to impersonate others or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization.

3. Sessions and devices

QuickStage uses secure session cookies to keep you signed in across pages and visits. These sessions persist until you sign out or revoke them. You are responsible for keeping your devices secure; if you lose access to a device, you should revoke that session promptly.

Passkey (WebAuthn) support is planned for a future release. When available, passkeys will allow biometric sign‑in with Face ID or Touch ID. Until then, all authentication relies on email verification and session cookies.

4. OAuth and connected apps

When you choose to continue to a third-party website or app (“Client App”), QuickStage may share limited profile information (such as name and email) with that Client App consistent with the authorization screen and the Client App’s requested scopes. Client Apps are responsible for their own privacy and security practices.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. Misuse includes, but is not limited to:

  • Attempting to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Using the Services to facilitate fraud, phishing, credential harvesting, or abuse.
  • Sending unlawful, deceptive, or harmful requests through QuickStage.
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, or interfering with the Services’ integrity or performance.

6. Developer obligations

If you operate a Client App or integrate with QuickStage APIs, you agree to:

  • Keep client secrets and API keys confidential (never in browser code).
  • Use HTTPS for redirect URIs and API calls.
  • Provide accurate app branding (name/logo) and comply with applicable laws.
  • Promptly address security issues and notify us of suspected compromise.

7. Communications

We may send you service-related communications, including verification codes and security notices. These messages are part of the Services. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email address.

8. Service availability; changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We may also introduce or modify limits (for example, rate limits, verification controls, or API usage thresholds).

9. Intellectual property

QuickStage and its logos, UI, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Services except as expressly permitted by us.

10. Privacy

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUICKSTAGE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUICKSTAGE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO QUICKSTAGE FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold QuickStage harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your Client App, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the Services, or used the Services unlawfully. You may stop using the Services at any time.

15. Dispute resolution; governing law; venue

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where QuickStage operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Unless prohibited by law, disputes will be brought in courts of competent jurisdiction in that same jurisdiction.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
